A Single Autumn Leafthe day churned slow and dense. and then like ice cream left out too long it began to melt. cold, sticky syrup everywhere. to step in and to touch. capturing our every movement in reflection as sweet as it is frigid.A Single Autumn Leaf
in every dream that night there were colors from the past arched together in a rainbow across a previously stormy mind. they rose and curved to a crescendo of sorts. until i was awoken to the reality that the memories are the only place those colors still have form.
the night loped onward as it tends to do. and nothing occured to me again of those dreams that night that so sweetly colored all the grey
